It ‘a pleasure of sight before those hearing see the Court Theatre of Napoli packed audience of spectators of all ages, agreed to hear a concert dedicated to some of the many musical treasures of the Neapolitan School.
Tuesday, November 10, 2015 as successful as expected the concert planned by ‘Scarlatti Association of Naples in collaboration with the Department of Early Music “Pietà de’ Turchini” Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella and the artistic direction of Antonio Florio and Dinko Fabris, for ScarlattiLab, with the participation of the Conservatories of Napoli and Palermo.
“Gennaro Manna and A. Scarlatti – due generazioni a confronto” is the eloquent title.
Interpreters were young students and prestigious professors in close collaboration:
Olga Cafiero, Federica Pagliuca, Graziana Palace (soprano); Daniela Salvo (mezzo-soprano), Leopoldo Punziano (tenor) and ScarlattiLab Orchestra, conducted by Antonio Florio, with Enrico Parizzi, Giovanni Rota, Massimo Percivaldi, Joseph Guide (first violins); Marco Piantoni, Patrick Focardi, Nunzia Sorrentino (second violin); Rosario Di Meglio (Violin and Viola); Adriano Fazio, Chiara Mallozzi (cello); Sanvito George (bass); Charles Barile, Angelo Trancone, Luigi Trivisano (organ and harpsichord).
